MURRAY STATE 8, EASTERN ILLINOIS 4
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - 
Third-seeded Murray State defeated Eastern Illinois, 8-4, in the first game of the 2015 OVC Softball Championship. The Racers will face the winner of the Jacksonville State/Southeast Missouri game while the Panthers will play the losers.

After the Panthers took the 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, the OVC Player of the Year Jessica Twaddle hit a two run shot to tie the game in thebottm of the inning.

Maggie Glass hit her 14th home run of the season to give the Racers the 3-2 lead in the bottom of the second. Murray State scored in every inning except the fourth.

Eastern Illinois rallied for a pair of runs in the top of the seventh.

Mo Ramsey and Maggie Glass each had three hits to lead the Racers while Twaddle finished the day going 2-for-3.

The Panthers were lead by April Markowski who went 2-for-4.

Murray State's CheyAnne Gaskey picked up her 19th win over the year as she struck out a pair and walked just one. EIU's Jessica Wireman was tagged with the loss as she gave up three earned runs.

JACKSONVILLE STATE 21, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 0
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -
Second-seeded Jacksonville State defeated No. 7 Southeast Missouri, 21-0, in the second game of the 2015 OVC Softball Championship. The 21 runs were the most scored in an OVC Tournament game.

Sara Borders and Ella Denes both hit grand slams in the game. Jamie McGuire also hit her second home run of the season in the game. Denes had four hits and drove in six runs in the game. Savannah Sloan and Stephanie Lewis also had four hits.

Nicole Deering led Southeast Missouri going 2-for-2.

Jacksonville State's Taylor West picked up the win as she struck out four batters. It marked her 13th win over the year.

Madeline Krumery was tagged with the loss.

TENNESSEE TECH 11, EASTERN KENTUCKY 3
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -
Fourth-seeded Tennessee Tech defeated No. 5 Eastern Kentucky in the third game of the 2015 OVC Softball Championship.

The Golden Eagles will play the winner of the SIUE/Morehead State game while the Colonels will play the loser.

Tennessee Tech's Alyssa Richards hit a pair of home runs to lead the Golden Eagles. Sabrie Neeb also hit a home run to give her seven on the year. Angi Sakamoto went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Sarah Jackson paced the Colonels as she drove in a pair runs and recorded a hit. Paige Murphy and Kayla Joyce recorded EKU's other two hits.

Danielle Liberatore earned her 16th win of the year as she fanned 13 batters. Leanna Pittsenbarge suffered the loss.

SIUE 8, MOREHEAD STATE 3
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -
Haley Chambers hit a home run and struck out 10 batters to lead top-seeded SIUE past No. 8 Morehead State in the final game of the first day of the 2015 OVC Softball Championship.

Chambers notched her league-leading 23rd win in the circle giving up just three runs and three hits in the game.

SIUE's Alex McDavid hit her sixth-home run of the year, finishing the game going 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs scored. Jordan LaFave also hit a homer in the game.

Tressa Watson provided all of the Eagles offense as she hit a three-run home run in the top of the first inning.

Tanna Seuferer took the loss for Morehead State.
