MURRAY, Ky. - Second-seeded Belmont defeated No. 6 Tennessee Tech (25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 26-24) to advance to the finals of the 2015 OVC Volleyball Championship. The Bruins will face the winner of the Murray State/Tennessee State match tomorrow at 7 p.m. CT.
Arianna Person recorded a match-high 30 kills to go with 15 digs to lead the Bruins. Emma Price also registered a double-double with 49 assists and a team-high 23 digs. Jocelyn Youngdahl finished the match with 10 kills while Emily Richards recorded 21 digs. Brie Lewis and Elli Ivancich also reached double-digits in digs with 18 and 11, respectively.
Tennessee Tech was led by Cody Dodd with 25 kills and 16 digs. Sharon Anderson dished out 42 assists to go with 12 digs. Kennedy Wade led all players with 29 digs while Kristen Burgere had 16 and Allison Morrett chipped in 15 digs.

MURRAY, Ky. - Top-seeded Murray State defeated No. 4 Tennessee State (25-16, 30-28, 25-22) to advance to the finals of the 2015 OVC Volleyball Championship. The Racers will face No. 2 Belmont tomorrow at 7 p.m. CT.
Scottie Ingram led Murray State with a match-high 18 kills while Kristen Besselsen had 15 kills to go with 13 digs. Ellie Lorenz recorded a team-best 17 digs while Taylor Olden had 16 digs. Sam Bedard recorded a double-double with 52 assists and 11 digs.
For the Tigers, Chloe Watson and Haley Hampton each had a team-high eight kills. Samantha Beltran led TSU with 28 assists while Madison Halterman paced the defense with 17 digs.
