PADUCAH, Ky. - Second-seeded Austin Peay defeated No. 3 Eastern Kentucky to advance to the championship match of the 2013 Ohio Valley Conference Tennis Tournament. The Govs will play No. 5 Belmont tomorrow at 2 p.m .CT
The Govs earned the doubles points as Sean Bailey and Jasmine Ademovic defeated Juanjo de le Llera and Lucas Smets at the No. 1 spot and John Storie and Alekas Tverijonas beat DAridge Saidi and Joao Miao at the No. 3 position.
APSU earned wins at No. 1, 4 and 5 singles to seal the match. Sean Bailey defeated Daridge Saidi, 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 1 spot while Alekas Tverijonas beat Lucas Smets, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 4 position. At No. 5 singles, John Storie defeated Joao Maio, 7-6, 6-0.

PADUCAH, Ky. - Fifth-seeded Belmont upset No. 1 Tennessee Tech, 4-2, to advance to play in the championship match of the 2031 OVC Tennis Tournament. The Bruins will play No. 2 Austin Peay tomorrow at 2 p.m. CT.
Belmont picked up the doubles points with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. At No. 2 doubles, Fernando Mussolini and Navarro Veys defeated Artem Tarasov and Vasily Eremeev. Bruno Silva and Henrik Claesson beat Alvaro Cintas and Othon Lima at the No. 3 positon.
The Bruins earned wins at the No. 2, 3 and 6 singles to capture the match. Henrique Norbiato defeated Alejandro Augusto, 7-6, 6-3 at No. 2 singles while Fernando Mussolini beat Artem Tarasov, 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 3 spots. At No. 6 singles, Narvarro Veys beat Othon Lima, 6-2, 6-2.
