Male Golfer of the Week

Butler earned his third Golfer of the Week honor of the season after tying for 18th out of 83 players at the competitive Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Butler posted a 2-under round of 70 to open play and followed that with a round of 81 before finishing strong with a 1-under score of 70 in the final round.

Female Golfer of the Week
Ashley Cox • Sr. • Oxford, Ala. • Jacksonville State
Cox posted her best finish of the season in helping Jacksonville State to the team championship at the Samford Women's Intercollegiate. The senior had rounds of 76-73-70 to finish at 219 (+5) and finish third out of 55 total golfers. Her 2-under round of 70 during the final round helped Jax State rally from nine shots down to win the team title by six strokes over Samford and South Alabama.
