MEDIA

BROOKS STADIUM
Historic Brooks Stadium was built in 1948 by J. Polk Brooks. It was the original home of a St. Louis Cardinals minor league club, and is the current home for Paducah Tilghman High School, and Post 31 American Legion baseball. Several high school and Legion district, regional, and state tournaments have been held at the field, which was completely renovated in 1997.
Brooks Stadium can be reached from Interstate 24 by taking exit #7, and heading north on Hwy. 45 to the 4th traffic light. Turn right at the 4th light (Jackson Street). After making the right turn, proceed through two traffic lights and then the road will bend to the right. Follow the curve to Brooks Stadium Drive, which will be on your right.
DIRECTIONS
From I-24, take Exit 7. If you come in on I-24 West (from Kentucky south of Paducah), turn right off of the exit. If you come in on I-24 East (from Illinois), turn left off of the exit. Turn right at the fifth stoplight onto Jackson Street. You will go past one stoplight, down a hill and under a railroad trestle, then through another stoplight. After that second stoplight, you will see McDonald's on the left. Turn right after the Henneberger, Flynn and Associates sign (25th Street). The road will curve to the left. After about four or five blocks' distance, you will see the stadium on the left. If you miss the turn at 25th Street, you can turn right at almost any of the next four or five streets, go down a few blocks, then turn right. Signs for Brooks Stadium will be visible on Jackson Street from 25th Street forward.

Also known as the "Bright Star on the River," Paducah offers many other museums and attractions, performing arts, festivals, fairs, and shopping opportunities. Visitors can take horse drawn carriage rides, walk along the impressive murals painted on the downtown river floodwalls, or enjoy music, food, dancing, shopping, art, cultural attractions and more on Saturdays during "After Dinner Downtown Paducah."
