Jacksonville State?s Season Comes to an End with Loss to Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Jacksonville State fell to Alabama, 4-1, to end the season. The Gamecocks finished the year with a 40-16 overall record.

 

JSU took the 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth off a Kayla Collins solo home run. Collins finished the game with two of the three Gamecock hits.

 

Alabama would put up a four spot in the bottom of the fifth as the Crimson Tide hit back-to-back-to-back home runs for the first time in school history.

 

Ashley Eliasson took the loss for the Gamecocks while Kelsi Dunn earned the win for Alabama.
